Project 1969 Mustang
On 08/08/2009 we picked up a 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback
project car.
It is a numbers matching car in fantastic shape, almost zero rust and running!
Not in original colors or condition and at this time we have not decided which
direction we will be going in...custom or original.
Some basic details are as follows:

The previous owner purchased the car from California and had it shipped to the mid west. It was completely overhauled with the original 302-2V being bored out and converted to a 302-4V Boss engine. (290+ hp). Shortly after completion, the owner's house burned down. Although the car was not directly involved in the fire, there was significant heat/smoke damage to the paint and numerous trim items. Since then the car had been in climate controlled storage for 20+ years. Now it is time to breath new life into it!!!
Here are a few initial photographs. I will post the data plate information at some point in the near future.
The car will be going into the mechanics on 08/11/2009 for review and basic maintenance, tune-up, etc. Paint will be scheduled within the next 10-14 days.
